Lola T70 Mk.1 by GMP

A Lola T70 Mk.1 made by GMP Ref.:12404. For my surprise, when I better looked at it, the model has a protruding "chin", meaning the lower part of the grid intake was forward compared to the top. Researching what looked abnormal, proved that my recollection of the Lola T70 was correct, the lower edge is recessed compared with the top. Also the lights had to be installed because this car (s/n: SL70/10) always raced with the headlights exposed. The work included:
1- Filing the bottom of the grill opening
2- Putting headlights instead of painted covers
3- Paint the bottom of the grill opening (the difficulty was in matching the color), but its done.
Now it really represents car s/n: SL70/10 that raced in 1966 at Bridgehampton Team: AAR-All American Race’s #8 with Jerry Grant 7thOA (winner +4 laps) Grid=11th
